NOVEMBER WORKSHOP WITH MANUEL FERREIRA AND YAN ONG

There are 4 days of practice and theory with two teachers who complete each other in class, and in life!

 

PROGRAM

From November 11th to 13th, from Thursday to Saturday,

Mysore Style,

There will be two groups in the classes, the first starts at  6.30am, and the second starts at  8.30am. When registering, you must state which shift you want to participate. People who are beginners to Yoga, can count on the duration of the class between 1h and a maximum of  1.30h. And experienced practitioners have the normal duration of your practice.

 

Mysore Style is the traditional way of practicing Ashtanga Yoga, which allows teachers to teach according to the needs and abilities of each student. All people are welcome, those who are beginners to Yoga, and all the more experienced practitioners.

 

Day 13, Saturday, WORKSHOP ENGAGEMENT AND FREEDOM 

At 11.30h

You will learn the main techniques to activate in the postures, your legs and arms in order to be able to work  resistance, and gain strength. By activating your limbs, you will bring greater awareness to your center, making your practice safer and more stable. With a solid frame, movement, extension and flexibility come without limitations. You will learn to open up, stretch and create space in crucial areas of the body, which will result in a more relaxed, smooth and stress-free practice… And what seemed impossible, it will be possible! (2h)

 

Day 14, Sunday, Guided Class,

There will be two groups at 6.30am and 8am.

Students who are beginners, or who are just taking the first grade of Ashtanga Yogas, stay in the 6.30 am shift. Students who are more experienced participate in the second round that starts at 8am.

Lecture on topics relevant to a greater understanding and deepening of the practice, and question and answer time. (1h)

 

4 days to dive in depth in Ashtanga Yoga with two experienced teachers, who teach according to the tradition of Sharath Jois, and who show that this practice is possible for everyone to do!
