She began to practice Yoga at the age of 16, in 1999 she began the first classes, workshops and Yoga Instructors course . In 2007 she began her travels to Mysore, in South India, to study Ashtanga Yoga in the recognized Shri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI), and in 2010 she received from the hands of her teacher, Sharath Jois, the honor of being an Authorized Teacher with the initials of the KPJAYI.
She teaches Yoga since 2003, and Ashtanga Yoga since 2006, has been a co-founder and teacher of Ashtanga Cascais Yoga Shala since 2007. Her classes reflect the influence of her teachers, trying to maintain the tradition of Mysore and the Jois family.
She is the author of blogue Ashtanga Cascais since 2008, and wrote the book Stop. Feel. Breathe. A Yoga practice that transforms body, mind and soul. , from Leya publisher, May, 2018.
Had been a professional Billabong Portugal surfer for more than 23 years. He has been practicing Yoga for more than 10 years, and has been for more than 2 years an assistant to all Ashtanga Cascais classes and events. He has always been known in surf competitions for his patience and good heart, and he brings to the Ashtanga classes the same characteristics, teaching with few words but a lot of presence, trying to help each practitioner to find his potential.
After several years of dedicating herself exclusively to her family of 5 children, she began practicing Ashtanga Yoga in 2013 and was inspired to study to become a teacher. She has been certified by the Yoga Alliance Professionals, and has been assistant of Ashtanga Cascais classes since 2016.
Her classes are the result of her dedication to the practice and study of Yoga where she seeks to help other people, of any age, to start practicing Ashtanga Yoga in order to benefit from inner peace, health and fulfillment.
